Windscreen. Has anyone used one of these?

At the moment I have been using the Puig Touring Windscreen ( http://www.solomotoparts.com/Puig-To...sys-650-10-12/ )for over a year now and am not overly pleased with it. After a days worth of riding the buffeting I am getting becomes quite annoying.

I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these out? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Ver...3D131088871374

If anyone has I would love to hear some feedback.

I have tried my stock and puig screens in all the height positions and in all honesty I much prefer to ride without a screen at all unless I'm on longer rides. Also, I have a properly fitting helmet so that is not the issue here.

Oh damn! That is pretty slick.

If I didn't have a Vstrom bracket this would be on the top of my list.

I recently installed the Vario Touring Screen. Really like the look and only buffeting is at head level. I'm 6'. Not cheap but is quality. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Ver...item258a07f6cd

your 1st link is for a screen for a 2nd gen bike, and your 2nd link is for a screen for a 1st gen bike. Not interchangeable.

I'm plenty happy with the MRA Touring screen on my 2nd gen bike--buffeting is no longer an issue for me. YMMV.

You sure about that davidg? I just checked the link and that looks like a 1st jen in both to me.

FatherX: thanks for that. It looks about the exact same size as the Puig I have but it does have a lot more shape. The Puig is a bit like a tomb stone.

I did just come across this and it seems to have the same issues as the Puig.

One of the links shows a photo of a 1st gen bike, but describes a part for a 2nd gen. The range of model years is even in the URL.
