Windscreen Risers

So last night I whipped up some windscreen risers....

I have been suffering bad buffeting from the Kawasaki/MRA High screen that came with the Versys. Any thing over 40km/hr was bad.

I have looked at bigger screens and even vario's but OZ is a limited market so I have to pay to play.

Well I hacked these up in 2 hours last night... All I can say is I hate when my creative juices flow at 10 pm!!!

5mm acrylic
70mm rise
I eye balled the angle and that is why it's a bit forward.
Nice GAP!

Not bad as a test.
Ride to work no buffeting at 65km/hr

195cm 6'4".

I was considering the Givi and CalSci screens.
I have not seen any other Versys in Sydney with an aftermarket screen.
So unless I buy one AUD$250-300 is a bit too much to TEST when it cost me $0 to make the risers as I already had the stuff lying around.

I will have to make another set of risers about 1in further back.
ATM it looks a bit funny sitting forward like this. Bit like an Alien Queen!

Going on a 4 hour bike ride tomorrow so will see how it comes with 90km/hr etc.

I like what you have done.

Mk2 Versys screen mounts different to Mk1 Versys.
Much less options for adding any other screen to a Mk2.

There is a mount available but at US$145 + shipping = AU$200 landed
+ screen.
It is getting into stupid spending zone.
