Question Versys S2-concept

Hi,

Has anyone here actually installed that S2-concept headlight kit for Versys?

http://www.s2-concept.com/boutique/i...?cPath=894_796

I have 07 Versys (orange) and I cannot stand the stock headlight look. I have to do something about it.
Would you share your experience?
Thanks a lot.

From what I can see, it's not actually changing the headlight at all... just tacking some ugly plastic housing around it.

"Naked Versys Pics" for some other ideas on the headlight.

looking through the S2 gear Mcampana

WINDSCREEN VER6 CONCEPT is the light cover piece, and
RADIATOR CAPS VER6 CONCEPT WITH HALOGEN for the side covers.

for both pieces its around 800 Euros ...a bit pricey i recon.

That's from France if I remember right. I drooled over it and when I emailed them to see if they shipped state side they shot me down.

I bet the plastic for the EN6R is cheaper and in my opinion looks better.

Thanks, guys.
I know that it is not actually a real headlight kit; as someone said it is just a wrapper around the stock headlight.
And yes, I could agree that ER-6n headlight will look better for less money.
Also there are other solutions for the headlight, so I am not so concerned about it.
However, once you take off those ugly cowlings, there are no other solutions for the radiator cover except DIY, and I am not that guy.
That is why I was thinking about S2- concept.
They offer two versions of radiator caps with and without halogen for 450/350 euros.
I thought if anyone here actually installed them.

The headlight makes the bike distinctive; why be the same as everyone else?

Yeah more people were checking my bike out than the GIXXER and CBRs that were on the ride. Sorry I like the Versys ugliness, its part of what it is.

Personally I like to think of the V's looks as... UNIQUENESS... rather than ugliness...!

I think it looks great. (edit: the stocker, not that S2 crap)

That price is pretty crazy. You could sell your bike and buy one of similar value that you do like looking at and take less than an 800 dollar loss.

I like the looks as well, like the uniqueness enough to get it tatooed.

Are you joking? Is that magic marker or did you really get that tatoo?

I love my V, too, like every mother loves her child.
But, let's face it, it is ugly like hell. Such a great bike with such ridiculous headlight.
All I am saying is that a bike does not have to look like a freak just to be unique.
Look at Duke 690. What a great and unique design!

Anyways, it seems that nobody tried S2 concept, so I will not spend 800+ euros on little cosmetic plastic.
I will try to live with the stock look.
As someone said, you cannot see it while you are ridding it, fortunately
