has anyone seen or gotten one of the new Puig windshield called the "naked new generation"? I like it's looks, but have no idea how effective it is.

No idea but I have this one and am not pleased with its performance over 70mph.

I am 6ft and have tried it at every height and have not really found it satisfactory. However, if you take the plunge on this one I would like to know your thoughts as I'm in the market for a screen.

FYI fellas:

chadams66 - the windscreens you mention are for "late model naked bikes". They make touring windscreens for all years of V650's. I just mounted one on my 2015 V1000 and it works extremely well for $150.

stefan - the one on your bike is the touring screen.

Garage
I have one, excellent wind protection. In 6'2", I almost put the stock back on, it's like being indoors ;-)

Can you post a picture? I really want one on my 2015 V but I'm not sure if it would fit correctly

Just make certain it's for your year of bike and it should fit perfectly.

I eventually got a Puig windscreen (two actually..considering I wrecked the first one)...your 2015 is different than mine..but I'm willing to bet it's nice...

I wonder if there's a way to mount a ninja screen on there since the fronts have a very similar design. I'd love it to look something like this.
