Show me your BLUE V!

Seems like blue is the least popular color available here in the US. I personally like it and I would like to see what you blue Versus guys have done to your bikes...especially bags and trunks. Let's see some pics!

I have a blue 2009 Versys. The only mods to date are the Givi D405ST windshield and a Harley-Davidson helmet lock on the left side main tube. I'm seriously considering an ER-Max Hugger in silver. Blue would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm taking the new windshield down the freeway in the morning. It arrived on Friday afternoon and I haven't had any necessary freeway riding yet. I did notice a bit more engine noise reflected by the Givi windshield. The new air flow seems much better on the local roads. I wear 32 dB soft foam ear plugs on the freeway. It makes for much less wind noise. Frog Specialties impresses me favorably. Check out what they offer now?

Hi Oxman,

Your V looks good with it's black plastic.

Can 1/2 blue be counted? It started all plasma blue.

My 08 blue. Still stock as I am currently broke to an extraordinary level but I am looking into hard luggage and engine and rad guards as my primary investments right now.

I liked the red/orange colour better but this was definitely my second favourite.

The blue looks great, it's all the silver that turns me off. It would look awesome with black frame, wheels, forks, plastic, that the green one has.

That being said I alomost got a blue one anyway becaue the silver would be so much eisier to keep looking clean.

The orange ones look even better than the green. I hope we don't get orange next year, I'll wish I would have waited.

The turn signals are flush mounted in the undertail. You can get them in clear or amber. I recommend amber as it meets standards in the US, Canada and Mexico. The clear ones aren't permitted in Canada or Mexico.

The picture was sent to me by Phillipe at Frog Specialties. I have the blue hugger/chain guard fender on the way. The under tail will have to wait for a bit.

Here are two pictures that Phillipe sent me showing the turn signals on the undertail. My blue hugger/chain guard fender in plasma blue arrived today while I was out. I'll install, photograph and upload tomorrow. You can clearly see the LED lights for the license plate and turn signals on the candy green undertail.

Here is a pic of my Blue after a long weekend of wrenching on it. The seat pad in the pic is now in the seat and I added some hand guards also.

Fastoman,

Are those factory cases on your bike? I suppose they must be due to the matching color.

Hey wa6smn, is you're bike originally from California? I noticed it has the California emissions box on the left side. I thought it was just a Cali thing?
