Single sided hand guards?

I've been actively seeking out some Barkbusters Storm S7, as they mount just to the bar end and no additional clamps). Which for my setup is a must.

I want the Barkbusters, but I've checked everywhere and every e-tailer is outta stock and won't be getting any more till July.

Being that it's January and I'm seeking them out for additional wind blockage during the polar vortex. I can't wait till Summer.

So does anyone have a suggestion of who else might make a single sided mounting hand guard other than Barkbusters?

Maybe Acerbis Dual Road Handguards? Others on the forum have used them, so a search should turn up some reviews.

Check out the Acerbis Dual Road. Same idea, it seems.

Powermadd makes pretty good single mounting point handguards at a reasonable price.

Acebris looks like the way to go (Amazon's got em for convenience sake). Looks like that'll do the job.

Thanks for preventing frostbite guys!

Are the bark busters for looks or function?

Why don't you want the extra protection of the full guard? Have you tried Twisted Throttle?

Given that I use these myself, I guess I should have mentioned them. However, I use the ATV mounts (closer to the handlebar mount), and that is something OP mentioned that they didn't want...they specifically mentioned bar end mounted guards. I keep forgetting about the other "normal" mount closer to the grip.

My shipment got lost and rather than sit around for a week or two more. I gave up on em and started hunting down more Barkbusters. Day or two more passes and Twisted Throttle got them back in stock. Order those, should be in tomorrow.

Been a chore getting my hands on something.

Guess there was a sudden increase in their demand with everyone suffering colder days than most years.

19F in Huntsville, AL right now. If you think I'm bitchin' now... wait till Summer!
