I have no photoshop skills so I can't help you there but:
Are you planning on riding the bike???
Are you planning on painting the rest of it white?

Of course I'm planning on riding the bike. And no, the bike will stay red, I'm just thinking of painting the wheels after I saw a gorgeous red Ducati with white rims.

If it was done right, it would probably look good. Be sure to post a few pictures when you're done!

I'm one of those people that love painted wheels on bikes and think it would look good. I'd say go for it. The one that made me love white wheels was the 2003 Aprilia Tuono Racing. It just looks so damn good.

I'd love to see it when done. If they look good, as I think they will I'll probably do the same. May even paint my Givi bag lids white to match too.

Rock on!

It'll look great but I've owned white wheels before and they will be a huge pain in the arse to keep clean.

+1.

I painted the wheels on my first Moto Morini white and regretted it later. They will get streaks of black ick from the chain and road which will never fully come off. Brake dust made them look rusty. And then there were the water drops after cleaning them. Still, the wheels looked keen when not dirty...

White and black are both impossible to keep clean. If you care how your bike looks (I'm guessing you do since you're talking about painting rims), you'll be spending a lot of time cleaning white rims. The black rims on my ST1300 are the last black rims I'll ever own.

Worry less, ride more.

My son had a Suzuki 400 Bandit that was red with white wheels and it looked great. He would just spray a wheel cleaner on them after a ride and hose it off.

Look forward to seeing the pictures.

If it's powdercoat and then you wax the hell out of them before the install, they aren't too bad to clean, but still....
