---custom windshield---

I found someone who can do custom windshields for bikes. He did for my v one which looked fine to me but now I find it a little bit tall I think I am going to have it cut a bit...

How does it feel to you? Looks like it would be very effective, and it probably wouldn't hurt to knock off a couple inches. Looks good though!

To me it looks too tall but also too square looking. To try to put a little more style in it I'd have it more tapered from the bottom to the top edge and perhaps put a small scoop upward at the top. I'm sure it gives great protection as is but I wonder how it handles in strong winds due to it's size.

Any chance you could share your guy's contact information and pricing?

On the other end of the scale....

This is my best one yet. Turbulence just hits me at the shoulders. Head is in the clear.

Bob in FL, what is that and how does it mount? Do you have a better picture? I just put on the Kaw windshield and although it's taller and wider I think I'm going to try something else. I need a little taller windshield.

Like most people on this site I found the stock windscreen to be no more than an afterthought on the part of Kawasaki because it really didn't provide enough wind protection. I ordered the Kawasaki windscreen but, like you, I found it wider but only marginally taller. I sent it back and ordered the "high protection windscreen" with the gray tint from www.frogspecialties.com in California. I love it. I'm 5' 10" tall and it is wider and about 4" taller than the stock model. It looks great and gives me just enough protection.
