Scratch on the tank

Red Versys that I am 99% sure to end up buying has a 1/4" scratch on the tank, thanks to previous owner. I don't think I want to completely repaint for that, but I was wondering if anyone knows a quick-fix. Like magic-eraser, auto paint touchup pen, etc. Any stories about what worked (or didn't) in terms of expedient small scratch repair?

Also, he (she?) put stickers on the tank. Gentle treatment with a heat gun should get rid of that without hurting the paint, correct? Same thing to remove the Kawasaki stickers if I decide to go that route?

no idea on the scratch repair Zen however...

Just use a hairdryer for the removal of the stickers then some WD40 to get rid of the rest of the sticky gunge.

The 'V' looks kinda nice without all the Decals imo

I agree. The more I look at it, the more I like the "clean" look on those sweet sweeping lines.
