Do you think these spools will fit?

I want to get some swingarm spools and I read that 10mm ones should work. I like the look of these:

I like the idea of them being extended to protect in a crash, and the price is right. I had a set of similar delrin spools on my SV and they helped a lot in a low-speed drop I had.

Think they'll fit? Should I drop $10 and test em out for the greater good?

My only real concern is the fact that one side of the spool threads on the Versys' swingarm isn't totally flush with the swingarm itself.

I may just bite the bullet and get em.

Um, I believe they should be flush... Well you could just use washers to make up the difference. If the washer(s) are too large just grind down a flat spot on the outside of the washer to so it lays flat.
