Help me decide which color of bags.....

I currently have the silver trim Givis but got to thinking that the black trim may look better.
After a little electrical tape job, presto..........simulated black bags!

Which looks better folks?

My inquiring mind wants to know.

Thanks,
Dan

The silver trim looks much better/classier in my opinion. It makes the whole bike flow together which makes it look longer and sleeker. The black trim makes the back end look very heavy.

Well that is a surprisingly difficult choice - both look excellent. But I think I'd give the nod to silver by a small margin. They pull out the silver trim on the bike nicely as if they were customized to the bike where the black ones tend to just look "standard".

don't think you can go wrong with either.

Garage
I think they both look equally awesome. How about black on one side and silver on the other?

Go red to match your springy thingy!

Seriously, though, I like the black.

Tough choice, though, since that black and silver Versys is by far the best looking motorcycle on the planet.

So far we've got a tie.........two for silver & two for black. Oh yeah, one for black with silver flames and one for each color on each side. :-)

Thanks Charly for the compliment. I'm thinking a silver one with black wheels, forks and frame would be hard to beat.

Dan

BTW: I believe I need to paint my engine covers black too.

It seems that the silver really keeps the lines going by complimenting the frame and the silver shroud. The black bags are too much for my eyes. I do however, think you have a decision that has no wrong answer!

Anybody else think these buffalo wings taste a lot like chicken?

I like the black myself. I think the bike matches better all one color.

I just got my Cool Lime Green trim pieces in from Kawi today to replace the black. I have what they call Matt black trim pieces on my V35 bags. They are shinier than the rest of the case but not glossy like the paint on your bike. I may sell the black trim pieces if I like the green on the bike. I'll get back to you in a couple of days after I have a chance to put on the green pieces and look the bike over. Let me know if you are interested.

'09 Yamaha Superjet ~ '13 Ram 4X4 3500 Cummins

Umm.... this must be a trick question.

Hi Ho Silver! Giddyup now. sell the black trim or give it away to those of us still waiting for trim pannels for our Kawasaki bags that don't come with trim pannels.

Dennis,

I'd be interested in your black ones but I'd give the other guys that really need them the first shot.
Thanks,
Dan

OK, I decided I like the green trim panels on my bike. If anyone is interested, I'll sell the black I have for $35 shipped in the USA. Like I said previously, I have what they call the matte black not the painted gloss black. Not my picture below but it gives an idea of what you would get. I only had the bags on for about 100 miles before I changed out the trim panels for green; no scratches or dings.
