it sounds a bit drastic to repaint a perfectly good bike (and a perfectly good colour) unless there is significant damage requiring a repaint.

I first saw the Burnt Orange at the 2006 Toronto Bike show. Lust started to build, 9 months later one was in my garage. I still like that colour the best of the offered so far, but the blue is a close second.

Yes, but the orange parts are available in Canada, which is an option instead of painting, specially on the plastic parts.

Canada also has black, metallic grey and a blue (at least at Inglis here in London ON). Not a fan of the blue or the green. I lusted over the burnt orange back in 2007 and got one. What a sweet colour man! Do it

I looked at pictures of the Green V and looked at my 2007 Burnt Orange (Canadian) and the only difference seem to be the plastic and the tank The frame is black on both bikes (red bikes have a silver frame)

Basically you have two options:

Purchase 5 plastic parts
35004B 35004-0081-17L FENDER-FRONT,C.ORANGE
36040C 36040-0064-17L COVER-TAIL,FR,LH,C.ORANGE
36040I 36040-0065-17L COVER-TAIL,FR,RH,C.ORANGE
55028C 55028-0159-17L COWLING,UPP,LH,C.ORANGE
55028I 55028-0160-17L COWLING,UPP,RH,C.ORANGE

Purchase the decals
56052A 56052-1957 MARK,UPP COWLING,KAWASAKI 2
56052B 56052-1958 MARK,UPP COWLING,LH,VERSYS 1
56052C 56052-1959 MARK,UPP COWLING,RH,VERSYS 1

then you guess is the witch tank to get:
51001A 51001-0117-17L TANK-COMP-FUEL,C.ORANGE (JKALE650AAA006848)
or
51001G 51001-0194-17L TANK-COMP-FUEL,C.ORANGE ( JKALE650AAA006849 )

The other option is the one suggested by OXMAN, get the color rite paint and have the bike painted.

This is a link to an ad in Toronto through Kijiji for all the parts you need to go black.
I think the front fender is missing.

off hand I'd expect they came from the PDF parts catalogue, available from the same source as the service manual
