Black front fender on Red V? Who dunnit?

Walking through the shop just now (trying hard to work today) it just occurred to me that I want a black front fender. Yep. I'd really like some degree of flat black or matte finish, but pretty sure a high gloss will hold up to grime and whatnot better. I'm no paint expert and haven't painted any of my plastic bits yet.

Has anyone done it or seen pics anywhere of this combo?

Im thinking about bolting a dirtbike front fender to mine, right up under the triples like a dirt bike.

I'm gonna be looking forward to seeing that one

Wonder if it'll make it faster?
I think that it'll look pretty good on the red V.

In for pics - and YES, I think it will be faster! You see, hot air is thinner than cooler air and black absorbs more heat / gets hotter than any other color. So every time you ride, the fender is surrounded by slightly hotter, thinner air - hence less wind resistance! It can't help but be faster!
