Speedy's lowering kit + Ermax Hugger

Has anyone else had any experience with this combination? The right side of the hugger mounts using the same tapped hole that Speedy has borrowed to fasten the lowering block to the swing arm. I guess I could cut a corner of the hugger out to clear the lowering block but the mounting would get pretty flimsy. Love the lowering kit BTW. Can't wait to try it on the road!

Speedy actually sells a "WR" lowering kit for the European folks. It's slightly different than the regular block, enough so that with a small trim of the Ermax hugger it all fits together nicely. That's what I ordered from him. Give him an email or PM explaining the situation and I'm sure he'll swap with you. You still need to trim a bit of the hugger but it retains the mount point under the lowering block and works great.

I had to cut my Ermax out for it to work with the lowering kit. Here's the thread with pictures that I had submitted a while back. Read toward the end of the thread for the pictures.
