For what it's worth, I had an extender on for many miles and then it got screwed up. Anyway, rather than fix it I just took it off and don't really see a difference of why I should put it back on.

Hey atgatt thanks for your thoughts... Something to think about. I'm going to be commuting to work in some wet weather... I'm defiantly getting a rear hugger

Adventure Moto Stuff in NV has the Pyramid Fenda Extenda for $37.98: http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/...Category_Code=
I used a glue gun and no screws... It's now part of the fender, and is on there for life. They also have Pyramid's rear hugger: http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/...Category_Code=

I used ABS glue found in the plumbing section. Take off the fender and glue it up on the bench. Worked on the FJR too and was still there after 4 years and 24k miles.

I used the supplied screws and it is still on and tight...1000+/- miles later.

I used Mastercraft Heavy-duty hot melt glue stick. I melted and blended the Fenda in the fender... Hold part of fender behind where it's being glue-gunned to prevent melting right through, or distorting it.

Hi Mark, I got one through the Australian distributor, the primary company making these is
http://www.pyramid-plastics.co.uk/catalog/

They did a run of them in around March.
