Kudos to Speedy

A couple of items were at the top of my list of farkles to add.

Givi top case rack
Givi windshield
Speedy's GPS mount
Speedy's mirror extenders

Just to pass the word, I contacted Speedy and asked if he would pre-drill the plate for the GPS mount to fit my Garmin 450 and the guy was gracious in accomodating me and now offers it as an option. May not sound like a big deal but I have enough maintenance chores around the house so the easier the install, the better.......

Thanks again Speedy.......

Good stuff. I have the GPS mount and mirror mounts too. I also have the flatfoot and peg lowering blocks. I guess I'm a fan!

++ for the mirror extenders. A little pricey but they work great.

How is the vibration with mount to the wind screen?

I just go the Zumo 660 and was considering a central mounting location. How does the MotoWork mount handle / perform with respect to vibration?

Thanks,
Colin

I got the mirror extenders, which are perfect!! Then last week my kickstand put a divot in my blacktop driveway, so I ordered a foot for my stand. Think I placed the order on Thursday, and Saturday it was in my mailbox....Awesome service!!!

Colin, The 660 has a totally different mount that the 550/450. The screw holes are the same locations, but the cable routing and the GPS release are not compatible with his current mount. Speedy has my 660 mount for a custom panel and I assume he will use it to make his new mount. On his website it says he will have one available shortly. I will report back my experience when I get mine. I will say that when I had the blank mounted for mocking up my custom panel I did not notice any vibration issues, but I didn't have my GPS up there.

Zumo 660 GPS Bracket

Installed the new bracket for the 660. It fits and looks great. So much cleaner than the Garmin supplied Ram mount.

Thanks,
Colin

Another shout out to Speedy! I did the trifecta: foot peg lowering kit, mirror extenders, and fat/ flat foot sidestand thingie. Most excellent quality, goes on easy, too! Did have to re-adjust the shift lever down (easy/ fast) but did not adjust brake pedal up or down - I did however bend it slightly outboard to better reach it with my toes. Fast/ easy. I am amazed at what a difference 1.3 inches makes on the pegs. No more left hip cramps. Highly recommend these products!

A while ago I purchased a few items from speedy and I have to agree with everyone's high praise. His products are made from excellent materials and they are machined perfectly.

I came up with a new use for the GPS mount. I stuck my E-Z pass on the back side and it worked perfectly. It would be great if speedy could come up with a bracket for the backside to hold on the E-Z pass instead of using the adhesive provided with the pass.
