Z1000 mirrors...

I discovered that the second generation z1000 mirrors give me a better view behind me (about an inch) without mirror extenders . They look butch as hell also.

where do you find the mirrors? Do you have to order them from Kawasaki?

You can but I got mine off a member at www.riderforums.com. There is a Z1000 group there and they like bar end mirrors. The more I use them the more I like 'm . I have NO issue seeing behind me at all. They vib a little but any twin will do that.

Have been using the Z1000 mirror with Speedy mirror extenders.
The Z1000 gives a wider view of whats at your extreme sides better that the stock ones.
Recommenable upgrade.

I just installed a set of ZRX mirrors on my Versys and it's a lot better. I can see past my shoulders and since they are all metal they vibrate less.
I've been using ZRX mirrors on my last two KLR's and they work great there too.

Hey Stlee29
That looks good!
Is it a bolt-on fit, or did you have to modify anything?

Using the speedy extenders, it was just an bolt on fit.
Speedy does excellent work for the V parts.

I assume that they will also bolt on into using the original mirror hole as was using the OEM stock square mirror with the extender before I got the Z1000 ones.
What I mean that the Z1000 and stock mirror bolt threads are identical.

You are Most Welcome..
