Looks awsome! Got a blue 09 myself. Going a different route though. Making the bottom all black. Hugger, side panels and front panels. Not sure about the front fender though. Leaving the frame, heal pads and swing arms silver.

Really amazing. I wouldn't have guessed the lowers would look so great. I severely doubt our '08 red bikes would work well like that. Great job.

Well you wont know until you try, I had no intention of spraying them until sprayshop said " I think you should spray the bottom cowls too " so i said " Go for it "

and im so glad i did, try yours red you could always spray them back black
or get replacements off ebay...

Thanks for nice feedback fellas, rock on the VERSYS

Pants!

Love what you did there, looks great. I also have a blue V but the paint we have here is overpriced crap. What colour and brand did you use?

I don't see any screws on your fender extender. How did you mount it?

No rattle can, there is a place by me called " CAR PAINTS " and I heard he did bike paints!

He had a kawasaki colour chart there and candy plasma blue was on it.

Its a 2 part job,,,,, a tin of silver base coat and a tin of the water based blue.

I cant remember the paint code but i still have the tins so will check asap..

Yer i was horrified when i seen it came with screws to screw it on, but i refused to use them, so my sprayshop used some sort of sticky/sealant/gluey stuff that they uses to attach car wings etc and it done the trick nicely, im sure any sort of silcone glue or " no nails" as its called in our country would do the trick......

Where did you get that rear hugger? I have a red V, and I would love to put a red one on mine. BTW, it looks fantastic.

Saweeet! I love the rear hugger, which one is that? I could go for one of those. I went a different route on the lowers.
Arlen in Iowa, with a Green V, swapped lowers. Both of us thought our bikes would look better with the different colors. A few bucks in shipping and voil!

Hi All, cheers for the lovely comments, right
its a PYRAMID HUGGER, made of fibre glass, i did have to shave/file down a few bits as it was catching on the chain,,, so fit it, rub it down, then spray

on the tin it says " KAW 723" Candy Blue"

i just found one of my old post so i can confirm this paint code is correct

http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...ad.php?p=24080

As its says, you will need the silver under coat too,,, silver tin just says

Spankly Silver,, you only need 1/4 of a litre of both,, it goes a long way.

Hope this helps fellas,
if you can not get it, maybe I could buy some for you and ship it over,,
PM if you struggle to get it in your county

Regards
Pants
