09 Green Versys with Moto Werk Mods

First I would like to thank Moto Werk for the quick service, great online instructions, and absolutely stunning fit and finish THANKS SPEEDY...

I purchased the Std. Lowering Kit, Kickstand Foot, and GPS Mount. I had it all installed by myself in about 1hr 15 min using a "cherry picker" and engine strap to lift the bike. Fitment of the parts was "click, click, click"...no surprises. Here is my bike.......

Here are the Moto Werk Mods......

My new Cockpit.......

...been doin' this 39 Years, really great products and service...THANKS AGAIN SPEEDY..........

I learned a long time ago, that if my pace goes from that pace to zero abruptly, mighta' been faster than I thought...skuuter

Nice.

Ditto on the green contractor, with the black wheels, side pannels, & tubing. I have an red 08 I like alot, but if I would of had a choice...........I'd probably still be trying to decide.

Great parts!!

+1 on the moto werks parts.

If you use the Versys as a commuter/errand runner, like most of us probably do, the mirror extenders are a godsend. Wow! I can now see traffic behind me at any time from either mirror! Those are great, and the big flatfoot is overkill but excellent. Just PO's me that Kawi is saving money be making a OE sidestand platform that is sized for marble floors only. If they'd only made it to stop the bike from sinking in asphalt, it would have been okay, but that thing is dinky.

I must say I like the Green also. I think my first add-ons will be hand guards and windshield.

Might have trouble getting both handgaurds and windshield to work. A bigger windshield does not leave room for the handgaurds while turning. Most pick one or the other, I went with the windshield.

There are actually quite a few of us that have both. I have the Givi w/s with the

adjustable mounting bracket and the Cycra handguards. Do a search on 'handguards"

in this forum and you will find several other examples.

I added some Moose Racing hand guards.....right now I have the small black shields on, but I have a pair of the large green shields ordered. I can already tell a difference.....
