Wolfman tank panniers as saddlebags...

The zippers failed on my Moose Racing saddlebags and they don't make them anymore.
I just need extra storage for day trips the hard sided bags are more than I need . So
these tank bags have worked well on my KLX and I've got them on the Versys now.
I had to make a backing plate for the left side as the buckles wouldn't allow them to be
higher. They swung to much. The right side is brought up higher and isn't a problem.
Here in photo's is how it works for me.

For the backing plate I used 1/16" stainless. Removed the side reflector and used a long bolt to secure the top . On the bottom front corner I
drilled and tapped the frame and used a 6mm short bolt for that. Feels real solid. These bags have straps on each bottom corner that can be
secured as you wish.

Ride while you can
