LED signal lights installed!

I ordered some nice sleek LED flashers for my bike. Now I don't know how long I will be able to ride with them.on because they are not yellow in color but green! Look cool as heck, but I know that signal lights are suppose to be amber.

Anyone else have these and were you ever pulled over by local law enforcement if yes?

It wouldn't pass a safety, and I would expect to get pulled over , law is pretty clear and that law includes reflectors on the bike.

Traffic Cop

Just thinking, this would be handy when traffic lights are out, use the lights to direct traffic, have heated gear on and heated grips, you are all set, might even be able to rent it out

Why did you get blue turn signals? :O Or did they turn out blue and were supposed to be normal?

They do look nice, but you will most likely draw attention sooner or later from the local law enforcement. Years back, I was even given grief for having accent LED lighting turned on my bike while it was parked. I never rode with them on. But I was given a verbal warning. I suspected he was fishing for something else. Good luck.

It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

One day you will be pulled over.
You have just given some vindictive person an excuse to run you over because "they could not identify your signalling."

I've ordered regular Amber ones as a back up, just in case.

I live in a small town with a volunteer fire department. Our fire fighters have green flashing lights in their personal vehicles. They use these lights to indicate they are responding to a call, and to suggest other motorists should clear the road for them. This green light does NOT give them permission to ignore any rules of the road, including the speed limits. They are accorded some professional courtesy, but...

Everyone knows the volunteers ďdrive with purposeĒ and we all hope they arenít headed to our house as we get out of their way. There havenít been any accidents or collisions reported, but the local police have made it very clear that the repercussions will be severe. And if they are caught using the flashing green light at any other time, they will be punished by full process.

Huh, where was I going with this, before I got side tracked? Oh yeah: is the OP a volunteer fire fighter? Responding to a call on his bike? Or just a person blatantly ignoring federal motor vehicle standards (like the kool kidz with their pants falling down driving poorly modified rice rockets)?

Green turn signals = not good

2011 V650 in Black, well accessorized.
