Stainless rear rack

I finally built my rack, I took the advice of one of the members on th JC Whit. look alike givi monokey.
I took the bike out for a 15 mile spin, the box behind me has no rattle or any noise, you cannot notice its even there.
I yet have loaded it, I have put pressure by leaning on it, its stronger than it appears, the material is 1/2 in stainless tubing, all the hardware is stainless also.
I was going for a clean look, I am open for comments, good or bad.
Feel free to ask questions.

If you painted it red near the trellis pieces & black above, it would look like it was from the factory. Nice job!!

Thanks Bear, I was thinking of painting it black, I have some adhesive primer and matte black finish, I was afraid of scratching off the paint. But I can try, if it doesnt hold up I can always strip it off.

Yea, it'll probably be hard to get it to stick to stainless. Still a good job!

I think you did a very nice job on that rack and the welding is pretty good also. I know you took a lot of measurements and time and it looks well worth it. I don't know how much you have in it, but you might cost it out and put them for sale on here. Anything cheaper than what's available I'm sure will be welcome.

Again, Good job and take care.

Looks like you are a very talented craftsman. Excellent work!
Got any other ideas kicking around?

Japanese scientists have created a camera with such a fast shutter speed they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut.

Why yes, always thinking of something....one thing I am fighting with is doing a hitch to pull a small trailer. I can use the same points as the rear rack to attach the hitch....also I have a small trailer design in mind. If the trailer is not overloaded it should be fine to pull, but some people dont understand the meaning over loaded.
Maybe you will see me at Bike Week in Daytona with one...who knows.

This will reply to you but Dallas mentioned to sell this too.
Just need a price to figure out, any ideas?
Before selling any I want to put it through the test, I have loaded it and drove 30 or so miles with a small load....will see soon.
Thanks for all your comments.

Looks great. What did you use to bend the tubing?

tubing bender.
I am probably going to add some more tubing (for bracing)to it next week. I dont want it to look Gawdy, so it may take a bit of time to make it look good.
