Crash Bar install question

I have some SW crash bars to install. Any reason why I can't do the install with the bike on the kickstand instead of having the bike standing up straight on a bike stand?

I put my H/B crash bars on with the bike on the kickstand.

It was a pretty straight forward install. I was wondering if the engine would shift when I pulled out the fasteners but it didn't.

I did mine while it was on the kickstand. No issues whatsoever.

I did mine on the kickstand but the engine can shift so have a good sized screw driver ready to slide in until you can get the SW replacement bolt installed. Its better if you have help but its not that hard by yourself.

So, you could.
All the same, a rear stand is an outstanding accessory for this bike. Having the swingarm spools makes all the difference. When you get one you'll wonder why you waited so long.
UUhh, you can say that again!
