Zeta Handguards installed with pics

Here are a couple pics of my new Zeta hand guards on my 2011 Versys...Install was easy except I had to loosen the banjo bolt on the brake line and swing it up a bit...as shown in on of the pic's below....

this picture shows brake line I had to rotate....

I used the stock bar end bolts instead of the ones that came with it...my bars are filled with 7 1/2 lead shot so losing the bar ends doesn't affect anything....But in the future I am going to pull them back off and rattle can black the space in between the bars and the backbone piece...or get my friend to machine down the stock bar ends into spacers...

oh and btw they don't hit the Givi screen even at full lock

any questions feel free to contact me

Dan

Mine are Zetas too. Looks like this is the only way to install it -- minus the bar-ends :-)
Funny enough but I've kinda got used to the vibes without them.

Attually I bought a set of LP bar ends to use like Web Bike world did here in there install

I think its just a cleaner look....u can get the bar ends here

http://www.amazon.com/1997-2009-SUZUKI-GSXR600-FLUSH-SMOOTH/dp/B002FDEJAC
then all u have to do it pick up a 45mm x 8mm bolt to make it all work

It's to add clearance for the levers. Most people don't install bush guards/bark busters correctly and many times end up cutting the ball-ends off the levers to achieve clearance. Other than that, the bendy ones are just different and obviously some folks like the look.

Ok the bar ends I order came in so I thought I post the newer pictures

If u look closely u can see I moved the control perches out to get rid of the gap seen in this picture

the bar end are so light I doubt they do anything but act as a spacer but it was need to get the look right and allow me to clean up the ugly gap

YMMV
