New style crash bars

Came across these on good old fleabay (UK). I know nothing about them, but I think they look very neat compared to the SW-Motech or Givi ones. They are listed for 2010/2011 models.

Here is the ebay link.

They are German made, but they only seem to post to mainland Europe, Great Britian and Australia. Go figure !!

Good luck exploring the infinite abyss

Might have been a player if it would have fit around the EPA can.

Nothing's too cruel if it's funny enough.

I kind of like that. Wish they had a manufacturer listed so I could cross check reviews. Of course the conversion rate and shipping would kill me.

Company after a bit more research is called Fehling.

Sadly the sub-pages for specs are in german. They have Twisted Throttle listed as an importer.

Talking Ordered from Fehling

I have dealt with Fehling in Germany previously. Great company to deal with.
I purchased their crash bars, engine guards, for my Suzuki V-Strom. Very quick service and delivery. There is no Value Added Tax for items that are shipped out of the country. Savings of up to 40% off the listed price. They also ship via regular mail to avoid tie ups in customs when the shipment enters the US.
Had telephone conversations with them. They are proficient in English.
If you like the product, give them a call, or email, to find what the price and shipping to your address will cost.

“Don’t bother me with DETAILS!”

Not sure how much different the mounting is on a 2nd gen but the SWM units fit the 1st gen California models just fine.

Yes, and here's a picture without the canister: the white arrows point to the mounting-bolt holes; the green points to the "Thermo-Bob"; and the red arrow to the bolt I used to block the breather-line from the airbox (rather than removing it). As you can see - SW Motech crash bars are installed.
