Dan moto slip-on muffler photos

By now most of the popular after market exhaust mods have been discussed along with photos. Having been interested in a lighter more aesthetically pleasing but affordable muffler I ordered the Dan Moto slip on from China. I was disappointed that the carbon fibre model was no longer available but for $150 (shipping included) I was willing to go ahead and take a chance on the titanium model. The pipe is very high quality, perfect machine welds, awesome sound, all at a very reasonable price. Here are the photos so you can actually see it installed on a Versys. Here is the link to their website: http://www.dan-moto.com/er6-versys-6...-18_21_71.html

I ordered the removable baffle so it's much quieter than you might expect. It's impossible to describe the sound but I'm very pleased with the tone and don't find the volume to be objectionable.

ANSWERS:

1. I suppose you could have an O2 sensor installed in the short extension pipe just ahead of the muffler.

2. I decided that I preferred the naked engine look so I removed the plastic panels and their associated bracketry on either side of the lower engine. I can't see any purpose they serve other than to hide the exhaust from view.
