Talking Naked Versys

Stripped off all the crap that I didn't like and came up with this.
Arrow Header, Two Bros Can, PCIII, Filter, 44t Rear Sprocket, RK 520 X-ring chain, Home made plate light.

Sorry about the sideways pic.

Japanese scientists have created a camera with such a fast shutter speed they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut.

Nice!

Now take off the side panels and put on a double headlight set like the Speed Triple.

Interesting concept - still trying to decide if it looks too 'bulky' up top with nothing to balance out the bottom. Pipes look real nice.

un-sideways

Looks nice BB!

I couldn't live w/o my panniers though. Hey you've got the TBR w/arrow headers. Did you do them together or separate? I've got a TBR can and was wondering how much the Arrow headers help and where. Up top?

Looks great.

Like Luke I couldn't live without my bags, but I really like this look for the V. That what the V is all about, isn't it. Versatility.

Good job going a different direction than most of the rest of us.

Talking Mid to up top

Hey Luke and all,

I had just the can for about 2500 miles then added the Arrow Header about 1500 miles ago. I can really tell the difference with the header, feels like quite a bit more pull from 5 to 9k rpm. Wheelie Time!

I have not remapped the PCIII with the new header yet. I will be doing just a full power dyno pull on the 27th. I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,
Bob

Looks awesome. The back end is nice and clean. The exposed headers and exhaust seem to promote the nakedness and machine look. Do you notice any difference without the lower fairings?

I Like it alot.

My ermax undertail should come in next week. Looking forward to getting that garb off my tail.

Cheers,
Colin

Not really. Maybe a little less engine heat.
BTW this is the stock tail modified with a coping saw and a file.

Awesome Bob!! 44T rear a good choice? I ordered a 43T steel SunStar, hoping it makes a positive diff on the highway. We shall see..

Got any more pics (some with left side profile too?)

Rock on brother,
Jim

I really like the look of the rear! Very clean!

I also could not live without my trunk and looking to add some Givi saddlebags.

Versitility says it all with the Versys!

2013 Vulcan Classic LT but may be going back in the fold..

Great job, look forward to seeing you and it in the flesh one of these days-think we are only about 50 miles apart.

Please tell me you're thinking of putting some braided break lines on your bike. That would be THE BOMB!!!

Hey BB... Just a thought... A cover (cowl) for the passenger seat would make it even cleaner. Doesn't look like you ride with passengers anyway. Maybe evn turn the pillion area into a small compartment? Your bike looks great!

Boy, she's even more attractive with her clothes off. I love when that happens.

I agree, especially if the lines were gold or bronze to match headers and chain.

BTW, Does anyone still have the original stickers on the tank? Most pics posted here, they're gone. Much better naked. I got a guy guessing my bike was a Aprillia the other day.

Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.
