Painting Hard Bag

Since Kawasaki does not offer the red hard bags, has anyone painted the hard bags? Is it the black trim kit that is required is what would get the paint to match what is on the kawasaki versys photo on the accessories page?

Paint

I have the givi v 36 side bags, and the 46v top case. You can match the paint at colorite.com for the passion red but it goes on into coats with the base being 1065 and the top being 3590, but they are pretty pricey. or you could drop by your local napa, and pick up a can of sherwin williams 2nd dimension paint. Code is 76835. I used a platic cleaner, then a pre prep and adhesion promoter first. Used a hardener with the paint in a preval sprayer. Turned out pretty groovy. and all for under $80

also the ppg paint cold is 911264
takes two colors to mix
d752 243.3 grams
d979 11.5 grams

hope this helps! attached are pictures of mine finished...matched perfect...i did it with the paint from napa
