New Additional Lighting Brackets from SW Motech

As the dark nights are rolling in now, Iíve bee looking to add some additional lighting but have been thwarted by the lack of high level light fixing positions available on the V.
BUT now I have found these are now available from SW Motech
Both for the Mk1 (07-09) and Mk2 (10- ) Vís

Mk1 Details CLICK HERE

Mk2 Details CLICK HERE

It looks like they also may be able to take other equipment such as Video Cams as well.

Not sure if they are available from Twisted Throttle yet

Sweet, I wonder what the price point on these are. I'd take these in a heartbeat if the price is right.

I grabbed these.... 48mm will fit on the narrow section of the fork and 52mm will fit on the section just below the brace.

I thought about mounting my lights using one of the fairing bolts, but didnt want to have to remove the lights to remove the fairing.

Plus I have the added benefit of the light moving with a turn.

Agree! I use the fairing bolt hole for my aux lights, having to pull them off everytime I want to remove the fairing is a pain, I also remove them when I take the bike in for servicing.

I'd love to add extra lights to my Versys. Is there a kit available with everything needed including the electrical part, with a a fairly no fuss install?

I really like this and it was fairly straight forward to install: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/5224
They are REALLY bright.
I made my own brackets, but other options (like the OP) are available.

The denali lights at twisted throttle are the same as these....

http://visionxsuperstore.com/Solstic...gLEDLight.aspx

But here you can choose your beam pattern. They do have a complete 2 light kit with harness, relay and switch. But they give an ADVrider discount of 10%. Youll have to contact Darick via the contact link to get it. IIRC I paid $258 with free shipping.

There is also this vendor over on ADVrider

from my experience in the off road world (jeeps/desert) visionX is some killer, killer product.

check some of the off road forums like www.pirate4x4.com for sales/dealer info - might be some better deals floating around out there.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll wait for Twistedthrottle to get a complete kit. Been very pleased with them and all I've purchased from them!!!! Just recommended them to some of my fellow members from Midmoriders.com.(local group)

Awesome, I'm a buyer when you get them. Especially if you sell them as a kit with the lights they're designed for.

Thanks for the update. When I look at the front of the 2011, it just looks like there is a place for lights on the side.

THEY ARE FINALLY IN!!!!!!! CLICK HERE. Just ordered a set, not sure if my PIAA's will fit. I'll fill you guys in when I get them, which will probably be in the middle of my vacation so I'll probably be late in posting how they fit.
