if you run a givi 405 and vario wing

then you may want to try this. mount the wing on the inside of the shield. I found it really smooths air flow, and it looks cool, to boot. If you leave it in the highest position, you won't have to do any mods to your windscreen. I tried this after mounting up a wing that's 5" taller than the vta4 to see if it helped with noise at 75+. it didn't. I got better results just mounting the vta4 on the inside of the screen. My windscreen brackets are .5" shorter and 5deg sweptback, so YMMV.

I've never run this screen in the lowest position, but the airflow is smoother in the lowest position, which leads me to believe that there is too much airflow going under the screen. I'm running brackets that are .5" shorter, too. I saw a pic from one of you where you had the stock screen mounted on the bottom of your new screen, and now I understand what was going on there. I'll have to try taping the bottom off to see what happens. So far the best setup is screen in lowest postion with the wing on the inside...
