2015-16 throw-over saddlebags?

Anyone tried nylon throw-over bags on the current gen? If so, how'd it work out for you?

I like the fit of the Ogio saddlebags - on my 2009, anyway....

These are gas tank panniers but work very well...wolfman tank bags, just did a 3000+ mile road trip with the wife on our 15 650LT.

Not the same gen but I put Nelson Rigg throw overs on my 2014.
I added a "U" shaped support which attached to the read side reflector mounts. I also added some paracord ties up underneath by the rear break light area to hold the support up.

If the 2015 has the side reflectors, I'm pretty sure you could rig something up. I got the aluminum from a local hardware store (Lowes, HD) bent to fit, drilled two holes, bought a couple of SS screws, and I was off.

It really added some good side to side stability and I used this on several long distance camp trips.

I used the Nelson-Rigg Silver Streak sport bike bags on my 08' 650 and 12' Ninja1000. Making a support bracket was a must. Got rid of those bags with my 1000 when sold. I'll be getting another set for my new 650. I know the bracket will be different because of the new tail section. But yes throw over bags work well, just need a support bracket. Couple of pics of the setup on the 1000.
