Painting Givi panels ?

Hi all .

I'm a newby to the site and would like to ask : how to remove the panels on Givi bags for painting.

Not really sure on that. I have Givi E-21's in flat black, they are easy to scratch with your foot, already found out.
I'm sure someone on here will know, may just have to drive out the hinge pins if I were to guess.

What bags? They have many styles.

I have V35's. There are screws on the inside to remove the trim panels. I removed mine and painted them red.

08' Versys
Givi racks with V35 sides, and V46 Top-case, Garmin Zumo 450 GPS, Powermadd Handguards, Motowerks GPS Mount, Peg Lowering kit, Flat Foot, Arrow Exhaust, Adjustable Levers, GIPro Gear Indicator, Oxford Heated Grips

As said above , just remove the screws form inside the bag and the top panel will drop off.

I am thinking getting line x sprayed on mine to fix the minor (ok major scratches).

Unless you have LineX sprayed on other parts of your bike, i dont think that would look very good. Put a bit of bondo in the scratches to smooth them out, then paint over the top of that.
