Question Anyone try these LED driving lights?

A buddy of mine on the vstrom forum found this deal and suggested it to me. Anyone try these?

I think I might be willing to be the guinea pig. I know these aren't near bright enough to provide enough light for actual driving lights, but I'm more concerned with extra light that makes me more conspicuous to others. I'll be riding through the winter, often when it's dark or very overcast, so any extra light is a good thing.

My current set up is the cheapo 55w halogen set from Wal-Mart. While they are plenty bright and do the job perfectly, I'm concerned with running them all the time because of the extra 110 watts of power draw.

Good for the price you pay.

Hey Fastoman, I've seen yours before, they look similar to what I have now. Are those LED's? What wattage are they? And do you have a link for it?

Normal 55W bulbs not LED but can change to LED. Sorry no links on this as I brought it from a spare part shop , last unit, could,t resist the offer. Works well but at present draws a lot of battery juice 55X2=110w, seldom use as we dont do much of night rides. Just for Long tours use only.

A good set will set you back a few hundred US $, can't afford and not worth it. so make do with cheaper option as long as it serves the purpose.
