new versys rider needs tips

Thanks for the flatfoot info, nice pics too. I just bought an 07 Versys and had it out yesterday, still getting use to that instant power compared to my Vulcan 900, first ride I lifted the front wheel, scared the bjezers out of me,I need more self control on the throttle for sure, I was wondering what would be the best windshield to get ,I dont want something too big but one that will do the job and not too expensive. I am 5ft9 .

i am 5'9" and was using MRA screen with laminar lip-original by Kawa. Removed and installed GIVi with the Laminar lip from the old MRA.

world of difference and very much less wind noise.
GIVI wind screen.

For your height I think the Givi would be the best bet.

Short rider....

....Me, not you! I'm 5'8" and recently added the Givi windshield to my V. Best move I could make, in my opinion. Wind arc is now at the upper portion of my helmet, or at my hairline (which is quite invigorating). I'm glad I made the upgrade, as I now watch bugs hit the shield, not my face shield.
