Flashing spark plug caps

I spotted these today

http://www.jcwhitney.com/flashing-sp...=d18953y2009j3

What do you guys think? Useful? Waste of money?

And: This is the first bike I've ever done anything more than add shiny things to, so how difficult would these be to put on?

Thanks!

why?

unless you want to pose, if posing is your thing then I'd suggest buying a bike dissimilar to a Versys... something chromed, something that doesn't need to be ridden (or cant be ridden)... something from HD perhaps

I think you should buy 'em!!!! Don't forget the 3 foot high sissy bar and ape hangers too. You're also going to need a straight pipe exhaust system, bandana, black everything.... ....and skulls, lots of skulls...

Let us know how that works out for you.

Tough crowd! From what I have heard, you won't get the same spark as you would with high quality cables. That kind of stuff is marketed for show, not go.

How do intend to use these when the V comes with stick coils that fits directly onto the plugs.

Tough crowd, possibly (or even probably)...

however I'd argue if you want to trick up your bike with bling then you may well have bought the wrong bike, now that's a personal opinion, it doesn't need defending or attacking, I recognise that everyone has their own reasons for buying a bike. Just to me the Versys isn't a super smooth looker, it isn't a boy racer, it isn't a <insert whatever category/cliche you want>. it isnt't he cheapest bike. The Versys seems to slip by most attempts to categorise it.

very good point there 'Fastoman'. You too "Thumper'.
But....IMHO, If 'Copycat' likes a little 'bling' on his "V" "It's all good".

Valve Stem Tire Lites

Buy some valve stem tire lites instead. They look pretty neat in the dark. I put them on one Summer just to toy around with. Then I threw them away after the batteries went dead.
