There are two nuts. Cinch them up and the stalk stops spinning.

I beg to differ - they SURE look like what came stock on BOTH my '08 and '09 Vs, and which were VERY quickly replaced.

VERY POOR design, what w/ that little 10mm (head) nut up inside it!

-

On the other hand - my '15 650LT has VG mirrors...!

Any recommendations for aftermarket mirrors?

Mine came 2nd hand with non original mirrors, but they don't go wide enough and all I can see is my arms.

I installed the Aprillia Tuono mirrors (from AF1Racing.com), but what exactly are "Speedy's mirror extenders"?

Does anyone know if they improved the OEM mirrors since '09?

I installed the Aprillia Tuono mirrors (from AF1Racing.com), based off reviews on this site. The OEM mirrors are bigger and clearer, and in a better position. But I didn't install the mirror extenders.

The reason I replaced my '09 mirrors was that the left one kept coming loose.

Gen 2 mirrors no problem. They stay put and with speedy's anti-vibe handlebar riser, there's very little visual distortion.

Fair enough I didn't know they changed them between Mk. 1 and Mk. 2.
They are nothing like the Mk. 2 mirrors which work fine with speedy's Anti-vibe risers as binderline said.

The Gen 3s FOR SURE, and I believe the Gen 2s.

My hope for mirror extenders with my Aprillia mirrors is mainly to get rid of the loud helmet howell that started with these new mirrors. Is this the recommended mirror extender?

Does anyone have a link to purchase the OEM mirrors?

I'm sure there will be plenty around here with people replacing them. Or people swap you for the Aprilla mirrors.
