Stock handlebar sweep?

Good morning. Does anyone know the sweep (in degrees) of the V's stock handlebars? I'm considering some of the T2 metals tapered aluminum bars and want at/near same height with slightly less sweep (pullback). I plan to do the Rox risers as well.

Invader has answered alot of my questions, but this one is still out there.

cheers,
/neil

I haven't seen a number published or posted here. I laid a straight edge across the handle bar riser and took a pic of the set-up. I printed out the pic and took some measurements...throw in a little trigonometry and I come up with 18 degrees.

corey, you said 'trigonometry' so you're likely smarter than I am. My visit yesterday evening to my MC shop tells me that stock pullback/sweep on the V bars is 60mm (2.36in). ProTaper CR High bars were near identical. I suppose bars are measured in mm of sweep/pullback, not degrees.

I'm going for the T2 Metals CR Lo bar and Rox riser setup. http://www.tagmetals.cc/mx/productdetails.php?id=t2bats

I want slightly less pullback, additional dampening, and ofcourse the good LOOKS.

Depending on the manufacturer, you'll find both degrees and actual distance (typically in mm). But I think that measurement is not accurate. I looked up an old post on the Versys forum and it looks like I measured:

Width - ~775mm
Rise - ~140mm
Sweep - ~90mm

To clarify, the protaper cr hi's were identical in sweep/pullback of their listed 60mm. the protapers were wider and not as tall as stock v bars.

Neil - you know the pullback is in mm so you're one up on me there!

Looks like this site gives a bit of detail on how to measure. Unfortunately, it looks like you'd have to have the bars off the bike to get a true measurement.

Somebody please confirm these are the correct measurements for stock (2008) bars. Number seem off to me. In your Rise measurement, are you including both the height and the rise? And a sweep of 90mm is almost unheard of for a motorcycle bar. Around 90mm is what ATV bars are at.

Thanks.

Obviously my forum searching skills

I'll have to start using Google instead of the forum search feature/option.
