Givi Monokey + Traffic II

Traffic II is my favorite Givi Monokey trunk - not ginormous, fits well with the lines of all the bikes I've had it on, and it really holds a lot of shizz.

I've had Givi racks on a few bikes, and the little Ninja and the Versys have been, by far, the most straightforward installs. I don't know if it's a peculiarity of these bikes, or just that Givi is getting better, but this rack was ridiculously easy and quick to install.

The trick I've learned with Givi, which makes it all go smootly, is to start all of the bolts finger-tight, then go 'round and tighten them incrementally, so the whole thing settles into place as a unit. I used blue Loctite on the bolts without lock nuts (the two under the seat and the front-most rack bolts).

Looks great. Now you just need to get a pair of side bags and start touring cross country with that thing.

Yeah, putting together the racks and all the bolts finger tight so they align properly, then tighten everything. Learned that one, but it was a good install.
