Givi E21 side luggage ??

Has anyone put a set of these on a Versys? What brackets did you use? Pics? With all my rain gear, my tail bag is full, so I was thinking of adding side bags. I think these would look cool with the lids painted green to match my bike. Thanks in advance.

E-21's on V-Strom

I had E-21's on my old V-Strom. I really liked them because they had lots of space yet kept a relatively narrow profile. They are also reasonable in price. you will need the E-21 luggage set (comes in pair) and the appropriate mounting brackets (sold separately.) I got mine at RL Motorcycles http://www.rlmotorcycles.com/cgi-bin/eShop/index.cgi

Lots of people here have E21s on their bike. I do. They are small but adequate for commuting. The bags are about 170 dollars. Givi rack set is about 200 dollars.

SW Motech makes a more expensive removable rack.

The Givi V35 bags that are available from Kawasaki mount on a special PLX rack. Only those bags will go on that rack.

The regular Givi rack will mount many Givi bags, including the E21s.

Check the photo gallery for lots of pics of bikes with bags.

I've been using them for 2 plus years everyday, in fact I haven't taken them off since I put them on and love them. As for painting them, you can, but the thing I liked most is they are cheap and flat black, so when (not IF) you kick them getting on and off it is no big deal. All the other bags I had on previous bikes were factory painted and looked GREAT, until I used them, then kicks, rocks, etc marked them all up.

Thanks everyone. I saw several pics in the gallery, and I like the looks. Marc11, you have a good point, so if I get a set I will leave them matte black. With all the afternoon summer storms here they will likely be in use almost everyday.
