Will 07-09 OEM topcase work with 10-14 brackets

I purchase a Kawasaki OEM topcase and bracket but bought the wrong model year for my bike. I can either:
A. Sell it
B. Have a workshop fabricate me a new bracket using the 07-09 one
C. Buy a 10-14 bracket OEM
D. Buy an aftermarket bracket

My question, if I am going with option C or D, is: Can the 07-09 OEM top case and base plate work with other brackets?

Please let me know since this is bugging the crap out of me right now, thank you

The OEM cases are made buy Givi so a Givi Rack or another rack with a Givi Adapter will work with the case. (You have the base plate so you should be good to go)

2009 Blue Versys.

It says monolock on the base plate. I wonder if http://www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle...idearms-detail will work with what I have

The pictures provided show where the Gen 1 versys bracket bolts to the base plate. My question is if the base plate can be used on either the gen 1 or gen 2 setup

Makes no difference to the rack, only the base plate

Yep

The end of the tape is over the centre of the mounting bolt hole
