Givi or Shad side cases?

Give always seemed to be the standard for decent side cases without going exotic. But.... Shad came out with new side cases that are significantly less expensive and a very clean looking mount. So theres my quandary.

GIVI $822 plus shipping

Givi quick mounts: $243
Versys 650 '10-14' : PLXR450 - V35 RAPID RELEASE SIDEFRAME

Give side cases: $579
Monokey Side : 34 LITER SIDE CASES MATTE BLACK

SHAD $678 plus shipping

Shad quick mounts: $209

Shad side cases: $469
SHAD SH36 SIDE CASES

Anyone had the Shads? Thoughts? Thanks.

Man... Givi is stupid. I click on your links because I think "Hmm... Let's have a look." Givi says no.

Here's another option:
K33 - Cases

They are less expensive then Givi and they are essentially the same. Got them last year and am very satisfied with their design and construction.

I use the Shad 36 side cases. Easy on and off, good lock. Why pay more? No problems at all with them.

I pulled the trigger on the SHAD SH36 and their new mounting system. Pictures will follow when they arrive and are installed. They are about $200 cheaper than the GIVI's.

I received the mounts yesterday. Install was a breeze with the exception of remounting the tail lights. Just getting the rubber into the new location was a pain in the ass! But all in all the install was quick and easy. Just waiting on the bags to arrive now. The mounts are less conspicuous as the GIVI standard mounts, but I don't know if they are less conspicuous as the quick release ones.
