Charcoal Canister Removal

Has anyone removed theres and how did they attach the hoses after removal. Also pics if any one has them

in the past with other bikes removing the evap stuff usually gives more HP for what ever reason

100% without a doubt not true. All that canister does is take gas fumes from the tank into some charcoal to filter them out and back into the tank, uses no HP at all.

They can be a pita if you have tip over or over-fill and they get a lot of fuel in them. Hard-starting, rough-running for a period of time. A few ounces of weight. On some bikes maybe some reclaimed space or maintenance access.

I took mine off my DRZ because I knew it would end up on the ground during off-roading. For my other bikes it's the type of thing where if it gets in my way at some point off it comes.
