Anyone used Clip-ons?

I'm thinking of trying to use a set of clip-ons (with the tank bodywork removed) for track purposes. I may even go complete streetfighter at some point, but wanted to check first to see if anyone has tried clip-ons. I don't see any issue with bolting a set on, but thought I'd ask. If you've tried it, lemme know. Thanks.

As far as I know I was teh first one to try clipons on a Versys, and I love it. I went the full streetfighter route with mine and wouldnt go back for anything. I used a set of 50mm clipons with a 2.5" rise so that I would still be able to sit up a little in traffic. With this setup I can still see just over the tops of sedans.

Using clipons shifts the riders mass significantly forward on the bike and keeps the torque where you can use it (with both wheels on the ground). You can really hammer on the throttle from a stop now and not risk the front wheel comming up accidentally.

You will however have to loose the front body work in order to install clipons.
