chipping CPU

Has anyone fitted a power commander piggyback chip yet? I find mine surges and have very noticeable flat spots. My brother's sprint did the same, after re-programming the CPU (which triumph's u can) made a huge difference, made the power linear and slightly better economy.

I have aTBR pipe & power commander on my versys, using stock settings. The bike definitely has more power than stock. Now it easily wheelies in 2nd gear w/out the clutch ( would'nt before install ). Slightly less fuel mileage (richer than stock). I still have an occasional hiccup from off throttle to on throttle transitions at times, other than that well worth the time & money.

Thanks versysrider, take your advice, sounds like it broadens powers spread and smooths delivery, have to clutch mine in second, deceptively strong clutch!!! sounds like after mods could clutch in third, thats around highway speeds, which opens up loads of fun cheers.
