Is this writen in English

I think basically what you want to know is that wheather 2009 fittings can go into 2010 vis versa. Not sure but interested to know too as the 2010 yellow looks good.

I'll help if I can.

Do 2010 front fairings and headlight housing fit a 2009? Not sure, but I doubt that it is a direct swap.

Near as I can figure the tank is the same, but nothing else forward of that is the same. You would probably need all of the 2010 mounting brackets, etc. Looks as if the gauge cluster is the same.

(nik tha mas trelaneis re ti aglika einai auta? stelne mou pm na metafrazw egw....)

nik 7119 wanna know if the 2010 model shares the same parts as older models. The front light/windshield can fit a 2009 model for instance?
the rear light?
the front rear fairing ?
has anybody tried this swap?
2010 plastics are for sure more trendy but i prefer the older look ,especially the front view of the bike.its a matter of taste after all.

hehe its an expression to say fellas ,so the translator gives him children ...do you get it?
he asks if the 2010 fairings can be fitted to a 09 or 08 model including the front light /windscreen/panel. a lot of people prefer the 2010 because of the sharper look.
as vzee said i also doubt you could just swap em ,you will need all the frame brackets to do it.
a good idea would be to download the 09 and 10 parts catalog and service manual so as to compare the pictures of specific parts and the mounting.

I’m guessing:

“children” = “offspring” as in “parts derived from”

“they enter” = “They fit on”

So, Parts derived from a 2010 fit on a 2009

As long as the brackets are "bolt on" and not "weld on" pieces, it would just be $$$. Nice look though IMHO.

You really have to be careful with these translators...

This thread is funny but also very complimentary to all of you. Not only is this forum so well done, you have someone who isn't very familiar with English using a translator to talk to you guys. Kudos for you and the op using a translator! I don't think I could do that on a foreign website myself.

(kinda did make me think about the cyborg comment I read on here regarding the 2010...)

Garage
It is interesting to put a phrase into a translator, and then put the result into another translator to see if you get the original phase back.

From memory "Out of sight, out of mind" comes back as "Blind Idiot".

Although I have had Miss Jaffa (Burnt Orange 2007 Versys) for a while, I still have a lot to learn.
