Crash Bars or Tip Over Bars

I have the 2018 Versys 650 LT and recently experienced a low side in a slow left turn after hitting an area of slippery substance on the road. Not very fast or hard lean. But the wheels went out from under me fast and my left boot toe caught the rough road and twisted my leg counter clockwise. Then the bike pinned my leg under in that position. Result: Torsion fracture of leg just above ankle.

So ... When recovered I'd like to find some crash bars or tip over bars that will prevent the bike from going all the way down in an accident like that. Previous bikes were Honda ST1300 and Goldwing, each with tip over protection that prevented the bike from going over on the road enough to pin one's leg under the bike.

Does anyone have any experience with an addition to this model that would accomplish this kind of protection?

Thanks in advance,
Ernie
