I went with the 2" Rox risers, as far back as they would go without hitting the tank when locked from side to side . My arms feel so much better now, didn't have any problems with the stock cables. A little more upright sitting for a 62 year old man with bad knees and tight back.I need to do the front seat lift next.

This seems to be a common refrain for us over-60 "guys"(all respect to similarly aged female riders). When I was young I loved that hunched-over posture, motorcycle or road bicycle. Aerodynamic and low, man and machine, scientifically valid. Bit by bit it became more upright. Now its all about good posture and keeping our bodies sound so we can pursue our love of riding.
