Question Full Arrow System + PCIII - bike running hot?

Hi everyone,

I have a full Arrow system on my 07 Versys, with a BMC filter and PCIII. The map I'm using is the dyno final.djm from the stickied map thread here.

I've noticed that while riding, the engine and exhaust seems to be giving off more heat, and the fans seem to be running more often. Is this normal? The weather has been warm, but I can't say that in past summers I've noticed it as much as I have since the mods.

I haven't measured the temperature at the headers or the block, but that is something that I can try to get next week.

Thanks in advance!
