I'm going to give those fog lights a try. For $34 how bad could they be?

Here are the ones that I purchased and put on my Versys. Seem to work pretty well, like I mentioned above.

Yeah, if they last 6 months I'd be happy.

And thanks onewizard and everyone for your help.

Looks like I made few more mods to the bar than I remembered. These have been on for 10 months now, and have not budged a single inch...

Here is my old V650 with the amazon $20 specials mounted up and out to be used as “leaned over” cornering light. I also had the projector to help with straight up and down night riding.

These were mounted directly to the crash bar and angled about 20* out and 20* up.

I have these and am in the process of installing. They are very bright and when I got them they actually have 6 LEDs instead of 4. I'll post pictures after install. I have Puig crash bars I am mounting them too. Did you guys with into the factory light connection? I have a 16 and it has the factory wires ready for light connection but pretty sure it won't support 120w. I have 2 lights at 60w each.

Please provide a link to the site you purchased from, I highly doubt you have 60 watt LED lights or 120 Watts total, if even from China and less than 50% efficient you would still have roughly 6000 lumen each. To put into perspective our 55 watt halogen are 1500 lumen.

Here are som good middle of the road lights. I have been running them on my F800GS for a year or so. They really light things up. I had the cheaper amazon lights on. I think I went from 18 watts to these 40 watts. they have 3 brightness settings.
