lowering pegs

Question:

with my new Sidi Canyon boots (love them) it seems tight to fit the boot under the shift lever....would the lowering peg kit help that and have others had the same issue?

thanks--love the forum, check it every day

Thumbs up

The lowering pegs will help. Or you could just simply raise the shift lever if you don't need the extra leg room that the lowering peg brackets provide.

Buell one inch lower pegs slip right on. Got em at GR Harley for 34.95.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BUELL...ht_2491wt_1167

Japanese scientists have created a camera with such a fast shutter speed they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut.

I've used those pegs on other bikes, first hearing about that modification in 2004 on the SV1000 boards. Problem I've encountered is either the pivot pin diameter is off a bit and requires a bushing or to be drilled out or the spacing isn't quite right requiring some grinding to be done on the Buell pegs and there's not that much there to begin with.

How did they match up on the Versys?

Question

Are the Buell footpegs slippery when they get wet? Or are they serrated enough to grip the under sole of your boots?
